Anyone else looking forward with hopeful anticipation to Monday?

I’m back at work after a week off, so it’s no from me.

Certainly won’t be rushing to go back to the shops and as I never visit pubs anyway the fact they are re-opening will have no impact.

In dire need of a haircut, I'll definitely be going to a few pubs over the the next month but it's the indoor opening that matters.

Sitting in a car park or on the street doesn't do it for me, especially not with the weather.

Looking forward to Saturday. The local cricket leagues start. Hopefully a few pints watching the cricket not stuck in a pokey little beer garden.

I just hope people are sensible and it doesn't become a scrum in shops etc.
I got pinged by the app the other week while in Morrisons doing the weekly shop and had to self-isolate, so even social distancing Nazis like myself can encounter people who knowingly or unknowingly are out and about while infected.
Fingers crossed that a month from now we're not arguing about lockdowns again.

Haircut on Thursday, can't wait. I remember when my dad was dying my mother had to cancel her regular Thursday hair appointment. He passed away first thing on a Thursday morning so she immediately rang the hairdressers to see if the appointment was still available and went that afternoon. After 4 months I can see where she was coming from now.

Yeah, it's going to make the failed test and trace system, more important now. Everyone is out and about so we need to start tracking and making sure people who have come into contact isolate. It's going to be an interesting few weeks

I am the worlds worst consumer .I don't do pubs , restaurants or shops , or 4 quid coffees .
Money -go- round will need to manage without me .

I've now not been on a UK pub for over a year which, at times in my life, I'd have thought impossible. That said, now I'm here I find I can wait a bit longer.

Looking forward to the gym though, will wander down tonight after (hopefully) the rush.

Not many people round here have lawns. But on the one occasion I encountered him in the local pub, he was keen to let people know he'd just had an email from Kraftwerk.
