Yep. Not one minute here either, nor any of the qualifiers too. To be honest I am quite looking forward to watching England again, I guess there will be quite a few players I've never heard of now.
Not looking for a medal at all or any sort of admiration from any source (although my two sons were amazed that I stuck it out). Rather it just shows that people can stick to their principles if they really want to......bit like those on strike really.

I’m really not bothered, i made my mind up a long time ago not to watch it when it became clear the corruption involved to get it over to Qatar. I used to like watching the World Cup but international football has lost its appeal to me over the last few years.

Of course people can post what they want. This one just comes off as a snotty little "my morals are better than yours" thread. It's not necessary.
I didn't, but not on the grounds that Qatar is a singularly unpleasant regime. I'm simply losing interest in a lot of professional sport. It's too contrived and corporate for me. I'm still fond of the Boro, but no longer obsessive. On balance, I don't see Sky as an improvement on Ceefax!

It would have been difficult not to watch a minute as it's been constantly on the news bulletins here in France, although I've not watched a minute live. They even took up half of tonight's main news bulletin waiting for the team to arrive back at Roissy. Still heroes apparently.

Seen enough world cups.
Without a TV or boozing down the pub, it gave me chance to read the new books I had stacked upon the book case.
Also gave me chance to dig out some good tunes on vinyl

Best football tournament on the planet - call yourselves football fans, pfft.
It’s the sort of football the fans live for, one of the best tournaments ever and it showed that football can go to other places and be a success, end of the day its a global game.
