Anyone see Ambulance last night and the lass from Darlo?

Caught a bit of it and was really impressed with the lass. Don’t get me wrong, they all do a brilliant job but what I found impressive was she asked the old boy being taken to hospital who his favourite group was and song. He said Love Me Do by The Beatles. So she got it on her phone and played it. Although he was pretty ill he managed to sing along to some of it.

Touching moment and going over and above the call of duty. Well done, lass

I watched last week's as well. Last week there was a lad who'd wanted to become a paramedic after seeing them care for his sister when he was young (she has MS I think) and this week there was the guy who's wife had died at 35 or 36 so he'd retrained.
The dedication of these people is uplifting, but at times it can ba hard watch.
