Anyone seen Slow Horses?

I started to watch it before the summer and stopped when we went on our jollies. I keep meaning to go back to it but haven't found the time. The wife wasn't keen on it and it was one of them programmes I watched when she went to bed.
I was telling the wife about the rave reviews Slow Horses had received on here and she decided to give it another go. We started watching it on Monday and have just finished both series tonight. It's got to be the best series on the TV and SAS Rogue Heroes (my choice of best series for 2022 on goalscroungers thread) can't touch it.

Some great performances in it but you have got to love Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb.

What are the books like?

So far, good. In fact because the idea that you have a place where you can put spies, who are different and have screwed up, to essentially keep working where they can’t do much damage.
‘The Slow Horses’ of the title. But these people still have the ego and ambition to get back in the game.
Great character writing, engaging and different. It’s a very fresh approach to the whole spy genre. Give it a try. There’s 8 books in the series now. Got me hooked.
