Served supper quick.. and I had loads because I was on my own and felt awkward as fook.. but still no bother.. drinking in the stands.. drinking on the pitch.. no bother from anyone.

Was mega impressed how easy it was to get drinks, food and use the toilets. Obviously lessons learned from last year when the Killers were on.
Great how you could enter and exit the stadium freely to still use the facilities in the fan park.

Not a massive music fan as such and would mainly stick to mainstream music. Both the Killers and Arctic Monkeys were massive in my College / Uni days so have a lot of happy memories. Loved being able to see them both in my home town in the last year and seeing the town buzzing.

Arctic Monkeys and The Hives both epic. Had a top night.

Good to see some love for the Hives. Amazing support band. If the crowd aren't warmed up after watching them, you should check for a pulse 😂

As an aside I snuck into their soundcheck at uni years ago. Was bizarre seeing them sans uniform in their civvies 😁

The last two albums were dirge so I didn't go. Love their earlier stuff and sounds like the setlist was good. If I had known they were going to mainly play the bank catalogue I'd have been tempted. Will make sure I watch them at Glasto (on the BBC rather than in person sadly).
They always do play most of the ‘classics’ with a sprinkle of new songs here and there.

Surprisingly though there was none from Suck it and See last night. Although at least we witnessed them opening with Cornerstone for the very first time.

I’m hoping to see them play Red Lights Indicate Doors Are Secured at least once, but I can’t see it happening.

To be fair it’s probably their weakest album, the most ‘pop’ in its production, lyrics and song structure.

Saw them years ago playing in Leeds where the bill was Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists, Maximo Park, and The Mystery Jets. They rotated as headliners each might. I will not see them with a better line up than that so I have never bothered since. Good set list though and saw The Hives supporting the Offspring last year and they are great live. Not too fussed on The Mysteries ok but would not venture far to see them.
Glad everybody enjoyed it. Great fit the Boro and the town.

AM is their most ‘pop’ in production by a country mile.

Suck It & See is more Americana-driven. And it’s brilliant. We
