Are mullets making a comeback?

Saw 2 on Saturday and another one today.

I'm not one for judging other people's notions of style, but I'm surprised to see anyone with such a widely derided style.

Has this just been coincidence, or is it a real resurgence? If so, what's driving it?

There's a (small) wave of Australian bands who are becoming very popular who all seem to have mullets - Amyl & The Sniffers for one.

I mean for some it never left! But yeah, mullets are back in a big way! I look forward to seeing our efforts on the pitch.

Bout time tashes came back too!!

I was at the lady gaga concert on Fri da y and there was a lot but with shaven sides. It’s gotta be one of the worst looks around but each to their own.

I think the success of programmes like Stranger Things are helping bring back some of that 80's fashion. However, I long for a return of early 20th century fashion, where everyone wears a suit and a hat, has a tash, and smokes 40 woodbines day.

theyve been around since the back end of last summer - as the DCI points out, theyre big at music gigs - massive with summer skateboarders - also on the come back are moustaches - beards are off trend

That happened a few years ago, around about the time Mad Men became a hit. It was widely credited with saving tie pins, mens tailoring and skinny ties at a time when people were moving away from traditional tailoring and towards smart casual.

Then it moved on to the abomination that was Peaky Blinders and those stupid braces, baker boy caps and short sleeved combos you'd see about.
