Are people confident for next season?

Warnock keeps hinting that next season will be a good one but I'm really unsure on this...

We have potentially 7 first team players leaving (Bettinelli, Kebano, Bolasie, Mendez-Laing, Britt, Fletcher & Johnson) and we're expecting to replace all of them for better players with a smaller budget and that's without improving what we already have. I'm really doubtful...

I am excited, however it's in the lap of the gods as for comings and goings at this stage. How much will NW have to spend?
What must happen as our foundation is to stamp out schoolboy errors, do the simple and basic things well. Far too many elementary mistakes in defense, and poor decision making in attack.

That's that sorted ;)

Some of those mentioned won't need much replacing, also some of them may still be here Mendez-Lang and maybe Bolasie and also Kebano. The strikers won't be missed I don't think and the goalkeeper, least said soonest mended.

We weren't a million miles away this season, and bit for injuries I believe we would have made the playoffs. When our first 11 were available we are as good as anyone. We don't have any quality in depth at the minute and at the neck end of the season we have had a few players just finding their competitive feet.

Yup we have been poor for a month or so, but we are generally better than we have shown.

I was but now I’m just worried he signs bettineli permanently
I don’t think he will, The gazette have published an article castigating Bettinelli and they don’t tend to publish anything too negative about the club these days unless they are given the go ahead.

Can't wait.

I don't think we'll be in a relegation battle, and as bad as we've been in the last few months, I don't think you'd need to change much this season for us to have been in the play-offs.
Really? I think we're at least 5\6 proper first team starters away from being able to challenge the top 6...

Agreed that some of those players on the list are not much of a loss. However, Kebano won't stay as Fulham look set to go down so they'll use him next season. Bolasie is on way too much money and if I'm totally honest I'm not sure he'd be worth it. As for Mendez-Laing, he's not very good...

All those playes were not really playing egular football though and they all need time. You may be right about Kebano going back to Fulham. Bolasie, I am noit so sure about, his wages will be payed at least in part by Everton. Not sure if he is not out of contract this summer though.

Bolasie with a properr pre-season would be immense in this league, i think.

Can’t really judge yet - as we haven’t a clue who and how many are coming in. Signings need to be better - especially the keeper and striker notably
