Are people confident for next season?

We could be totally anything this year , some of the negativity before we have even kicked a ball is sad , some need to see all clubs are fishing in the same ponds with v little cash available , better to get guys who want to be here than be messed about . Will gladly accept another couple of experienced Champo players & 2 loans from Pl if poss

Still not lost this Champo season at minute :D :D

Excited definitely (if not then what’s the point?). Confident? Absolutely not, it’s the Boro. I’m sure I’ll enjoy most of the ride 👍

Really looking forward to it. Feels like it’s on the verge of another exciting period for the club. The Payero signing, the acquisition of Kieran Scott who looks like he could be a great choice of sporting director, the current manager, Gibson seems to have the bit between his teeth too. Certianly feels like it’s an exciting time, let’s hope it’s a successful one.

Confident of what?

I'm extremely confident that I will enjoy going to football again: I like watching football.

I'm also very confident that we won't experience any concerns with relegation.

I'm moderately confident that we can improve on last year; we've not lost anyone I miss, and some of the new signings look interesting.

I'm less confident that we'll smash the league, but I don't need to believe that at the start of the season. Any championship fan who is ever confident of that is a fool; if they turn out to be right, well even pin-stickers are right occasionally.

I don't think we have anything good enough out wide, strikers are also an issue for me with only Uche the only real target man.

Creativity is a real concern, Tav has the ability to unlock a defence but I don't see many other's who will chip in with assists, and obviously Tav needs to stay fit.

I would love to see Malley given more chances, I hope I'm wrong but I see his chances very limited.

Dijksteel and Bola need to continue their good form from last season, I'm happy in Central defence and if anything I would say we have plenty of quality in central midfield, just not from a creativity point of view.

We will have to see how Payero settles in and what other attacking players we bring in, but based on what we have now and I hope I'm wrong but mid table at best.

It's hardly a 'last piece of the jigsaw' situation.
Also, a number of players have to prove they're not injury prone or too old. Good to see competition at c/h, although that is only as things stand atm.

I'm much more optimistic than prior to last season.
We had just survived, still the had some smelly baggage from Monk and pulis and had signed very little by this stage.
I think there will be some good signings still to come and some more back up.
Warnock will have recruited a dozen players by the time we start, it will be his squad and I think he will organise and motivate them well.
I also can't wait to walk into the Riverside again on a matchday.

Seriously look at the majority of clubs and what they've signed. I'd say we have done pretty well for such a small outlay.

We've lost 2 forwards who were gash and the main focus of negativity last season. So get them replaced with anyone and its a fresh start👍. We are at least not going into a season knowing we have cr*p forwards.

I'm confident of a playoff push dipping into the mid table area. I think the parachute payment clubs will have to much power to challange top 2.
