At last a proper EV fit for purpose

Ok, let's see if we can save everyone a whole heap of time. 🙄

Gimmick not fit for purpose......pay for themselves instantly.......yes, but range anxiety.......it doesn't exist, propaganda by ICE manufacturers........it does, watching range tick down driving down M1......not enough chargers.......good availability of charging points, get a cuppa whilst charging.......too hard to plan stops on long journey.........you need to stop for a wee anyway.........conclusion, inconclusive, do what suits your individual circumstances best (if still unsure go back to word 'gimmick' above and read again).

You have to, I repeat have to, consider the TCO.

Petrol/diesel versions of these voitures sans permis (literally 'cars without a license') have been available for as long as I can remember in France. They were originally used by people who were too old to have passed a driving test, but are now used increasingly by schoolkids over 14 to replace the traditional mobilette they might have used in the past. They used to look like fridges on wheels, but manufacturers are now producing sleeker designs to appeal to the younger age groups.

The microlina is really cool if you are pottering round town. Not on sale in the UK yet though. In fact the Microlina or the Lucid Air are the only electric cars i would own, at the minute the rest are just a bit soulless.

I had the same thought process, my response was going to be 'What?'. But I think you said it better. I'm leaving this thread now before the resident EV troll turns up and starts insulting everyone.
