I think the stewards are probably a bit wary about what level of force they can use in stop them.

Don’t want to get in trouble for rugby tackling a kid… less hassle for them to just usher them back into the stand.

There were kids in the South today at the back throwing sweets down on fans below / someone threw a pint from SW into the south too!? What's going on.. chucking stuff at our own fans?

And before anyone criticises me for being a kill joy.. I don't really care but just thought it was a bit of a p*sstake .. I wouldn't be keen on copping an M&M peanut to the back of the noggin from the top of the stand.. Plus more importantly WHAT a waste of sweets!

The first kid who ran on during the game ran back to the south stand and got back in his seat next to a grown adult who I can only assume was his Dad. The Dad then hugged him as if he agreed with what he had just done.
