Big game for York tonight
Losing 1-0 at ht

I've seen York a few times this season, and they are really confident playing out from the back. For that level, it's quite impressive

They could do with a draw tonight. 6pts behind, 2 games in hand before tonight

I went to the game tonight, it was absolutely dreadful.
The standard of the national league is so poor when used to watching championship football.

York were awful and managed only one shot on goal all game, Barnet were rough but finished well and deserved the win.

Lovely stadium with good facilities.

The York fans are a million miles from boro fans 😂
Zero atmosphere polite insults 🤣

Yeah they looked poor tonight, but I watched on a rubbish feed, and didn't see it all.

I've only seen them 3 times at home this season but thought each time that they play really nice footy for that level. Working from the back and knocking it about nicely.
Maybe too nice for that league

They are finally well supported, well financed and have momentum. I really hope they go up this season

My local team are Barnet. By far the best team in the National League this season without any big ex league signings. They had ex Hartlepool striker Kabambe up until a few weeks ago and he has gone to Bromley. Very well drilled by Dean Brennan who took over from Harry Kewell.

I am going to their home game v Halifax on Saturday and looking forward to visiting the new stadium while the wife does a bit of shopping after lunch.

@Cardiffdaffs ..........Is Barnet in the ULEZ zone?

I travelled back to Norfolk after the game and have no idea if i crossed into a ULEZ zone.

They dont make things easy finding out.

Thanks

York haven't turned up tonight. Disappointing

Hey ho 'we go again'...

I do like this style of play off though, keeps more teams involved

I remember Oldham staying up whilst York got relegated from what is now League One on the last day of the season (1999). Still find it odd that four teams get relegated from league one to two, but only two go up from the conference

Just looking back at my original post and how York play well out from the back!
Cost them dearly tonight

They finished 20 odd points above Oldham yet not going to Wembley. They had the home advantage and didn't use it, so that's on them

V disappointing but also the beauty of the POs

There has been discussion about it becoming 2 up / down plus third bottom in L2 being in a play-off with 3-7 in the conference.
