BBC

Another tide turned.
There were loads on here supporting it not so long ago when the subject of TV tax came up.

Bumface doesn't back any of them at the moment Nobby. Give me a proper left wing Labour leader and then I'll vote for them again. I can actually say that I've never voted conservative. That's more than you can say.
Never voted Tory Bumf, never will 👍 Even if my local Tory candidate gives better answers to IR35 questions 😕 Imagine voting Tory based on that, nobody would ever take me seriously again, would they ??? !!!!!!

I wasn't one of them Randy. Been obvious for a very long time that the BBC news ouput is just a Tory propaganda tool these days. I have no problem with their drama output though, although most of it is crap.

This is actually part of the problem we're now facing.

The Tories have culture-warred and internally poisoned the BBC to the point where the people that would normally defend it have now had enough.

The Tories end up getting what they want (no BBC for local radio, world affairs, community stuff) just by packing the news side with Tory mouthpieces and right-wing 'Think Tank' talking heads.

Another example of how depressingly easy it is to get the right people riled up about the wrong thing (cf Corbyn).

So you're not pretending to support the Greens anymore and you're pretending to back Sir Keith Stalin now? That's interesting, Nobs.

on thé planet by a country fcuking mile!!! All those “I watch Netflix, or I only watch sport are talking BS. See how quickly we’ll be playing “quarters” in soccer once the BBC’s gone, or how many adverts you get in half an hour of “Corrie”. And yet the same moaners happily shell out far more than the licence fee for Sky, Netflix, Prime etc.
If the Tory scum manage to sell off the BBC I can’t wait to read the rants of all those naive enough to think they’re going to be getting Netflix for £9.99 a month or phoning up Sky threatening to leave and getting a massive discount. I’m lucky enough to travel most places for work…..and believe me if they they doubled the licence fee you’d be getting an absolute bargain.
