By the way to be serious for a moment, this is a seriously talented boy we’re getting here. Klopp had him involved in his senior teams when he’d barely turned 17. I’m very excited to see what this lad can do for us. I think this could be a brilliant bit of business by the club here.
 
Be interesting to see how Carrick has us lined up and playing with all these wide forwards we seem to be accumulating. We must have LL, Conway, Jones, Hamilton, Burzorg, Forss, McGree (possibly), Azaz and Gilbert, Finch and now Doak who can all play the front three positions. Let's just hope we can get the creativity and fluidity we need and start banging in the goals. Gonna be a few disappointed players!

2-3-5 on the cards with the amount of available defenders we’ll likely have by October.
 
Interested to read (I think it was in the Echo) that Scott will only do deals where we have the option to buy at the end of it. If this lad is as good as we hear, be nice to think we had an option to make it permanent.

Heard this too but think this will be an exception. He’s massively rated by Liverpool and they won’t be agreeing to this.
