Biden v Trump Debate

Thing is though, a gay candidate will never win an office as high as the Presidency imo. Me personally, I don't care what sexual orientation a political candidate is as long as they do a good job, but hate to say still a lot of bigots and whatnot in the USA, way more versus other countries. So again, don't ever see it happening.
They said the same about a black guy / muslim too, and a woman, and Hillary got more votes than the diapered buffon.

They need to chin off the electoral college shíté, isn't it originally from salve owning times? Something to do with fair representation for southern / slave states as they didn't as many voter number as blacks / slaves couldn't vote?

I think Gavin Newsom is the obvious replacement however I still wouldn't bet against Trump doing more bad things against his own chances.

The USA really shouldn't be arguing between separate octogenarian presidents though.

He’s a stubborn fool who won’t step aside and that’s the only way he’ll be replaced. Literally any other democrat would wipe the floor with Trump.
Except possibly Harris. For what appears to be through a mixture of racism, misogyny, and the fact that she is a bit poor.

By the same token, any half decent Republican would wipe the floor with Biden

How has their system ended up with such ridiculously bad candidates. I mean, Starmer does not get me excited and will almost certainly find himself this time next week the first leader of the opposition to get 100+ majority with such a low approval rating, but at least he’s only a bit bland and a bit timid in policy terms. There’s nothing actually wrong with him.

I think most people who take notice understand that both voting systems are flawed, albeit in different ways.

I would be happy to see both countries with as dull and boring leaders as possible, as long as they're serious about governance.

It’s from before that. It’s true that it might have been seen as reigning in the power of New York and Pennsylvania and bolstering the small states. But in the original 13, there were more small states in the north.

No matter what you think of Biden on a political level, on a human level its sad to see someone clearly with, at least it looks like it to me, early dementia and/or senility, and someone with clear medical issues. Not to sound morbid, but if he does win again, I could no joke see him just falling flat on his face during a speech and not waking up. Again, have to somewhat feel sorry for the guy just in a humane aspect.

As far as Trump, his backers(And yes I have a lot of friends who are exactly that) are all convinced he will instantaneously turn our country around(Economy, foreign relations, etc) and I really do not think that will be the case. I don't think anyone really questions Trump's love for his country in a general sense, its the way he presents himself, his ego and narcissism among other things, that gets people riled up.

Said this before and will say it again: Is pathetic with how many politicians there are in this country and this is the best we can come up? I mean, seriously?

Call me insane, but I would almost rather them make a consitutional exception and let Bush be President again, then any of these bozo's.

Not gonna waste my time going out and voting for either one. Regardless, I see no way Trump won't win.

I think as it stands Trump wins but really do question his love for his country.

Where do you think country interests trumps (I know) Trump's interests?

I'd have no problem in either of the 3 previous presidents being sent in. Bush and Clinton are about the same age and both younger than the two in the running and Obama has 15 years on them.

JB Pritzker waits in the wings. Democratic Congressional Congress takes place in his back yard in Chicago in August. It couldn't happen? Could it? Pritzker would absolutely destroy Trump in a debate, both politically and personally.

Currently being on a poor 3G connection means I'm unable to watch the debate, but it surprises me to hear how bad it seemed given Biden's excellent State of the Union speech.
If he has indeed deteriorated as much as people are saying then Newsome would surely be the one who'd be nominated. The Dems have options, but Newsome appears to be the most conventional of them and it's only the fact he's governor of California that might make him less attractive to some voters.
As for an alternative to Trump, the GOP is so far down the rabbit hole now that anyone not pro-Trump has been sidelined to the point of being unelectable in his bases eyes.
