Bills Bengals

Disappointed but expected a defeat.

Allen hasn’t had his best season, maybe trying to force things a little too much.

Think last year was the big chance to win it tbh.

As an outsider I'm thinking a couple of players and you could be stronger next season but what is the cap situation like in Buffalo? Do you think the window is closing?

We have players in von miller Micah Hyde etc sadly they are all injured.

But fair play to bengals they were just too good on the night.

It's a shame, but also the nature of the sport I suppose, that by the time they're down to the best of best teams, those teams are no longer at their best.

I've followed the bengals for the last couple of seasons: what can I say, I identify with the post-industrial perennial no-hopers tag, and the Colts, who I also keep an eye on, are never shown (for some very good reasons). I didn't fancy the Bengals last night due to their injuries to the offensive line, but was a but surprised how easy it looked in the end.

If Mahomes is out next week, I'd make the Bengals favourites there.

Bengals controlled a Divisional game, on the road, against a very good Bills team, start to finish. About a "complete" a performance you could see, they were excellent everywhere - players and coaches.

Zach Taylor has done an amazing job there, should be time he starts getting a little more credit - it's not all Burrows and Chase 👍

Good point, its rare to get to this stage of the season and not be carrying injuries and missing players. The Bengals had key players missing in their O'Line and I thought that might give the Bills the edge last night.

Its felt to me like the Bills have been a bit off this season, they've won lots of games but struggled in games they would have won easily last season. The way they struggled against a decimated Dolphins team last week would have been a massive concern if I was a Bills fan.

I hope Mahomes is fit next week otherwise it will be a huge anticlimax.

Cap not that great but Beane very adept at renegotiation on contracts. Think Allen accounts for 40m next year, about 15%.

Theres a good chance both offensive and defensive coordinators won’t be there next season as well.

Frazier and Dorsey would be pretty big losses, I think you are still a strong favourite in the AFC East because you've got Josh Allen but I hope the Dolphins might close the gap next season and I expect to see the Jets looking stronger as well.

From the outside looking in your run game looks like it needs improving and you maybe need to add another receiver.

I still think you'll be one of the favourites next season but sometimes you don't get a lot of years where you stay in the superbowl window.

Stefon Diggs had a proper tantrum last night too - having a go at Allen on the bench then apparently got changed and left the stadium immediately. Might cool down after a few days, but he's got a bit of a reputation for the old diva strop so .........
