Great news for all those like me who have only been able to watch More4+1 for the last year..... Hallelujah guys 👍

Hmmm, well it worked with the scanning, but every now and then it says it cannot find the signal - everything checks out - anyone seen similar?

Sort of but has settled a bit. (Redcar East) I did 3 retunes on 3 diff receivers yesterday because even though I could see BBC 1 and ITV without the retunes , some of the higher channels showed nothing. The channels are all grouped into multiplexes and each broadcast of the multiplex will mean all the channels within it will be on the same strength and quality at your end.
EG. my BBC 1 HD on my main tv is saying strength 55% and quality 100% that's multiplex BBC B whereas channel 67 CBS reality on multiplex SDN is showing as 33% strength but still 100% quality. They still have stuff to do on the mobile transmitters and the radio transmitters on the same mast and this may affect temporarily the strength and quality of the TV stuff. I would put up with it til next Monday when its likely all the work is over.
forgot, there are about 7 multiplexes which contain all your channels

Still dont get BBC Tees in Newcastle in the car as strong as you used to

Wonder how far south of Northallerton you can get it now?

Well apart from the main mast there are a lot of repeaters / relays. When it all kicked off with the fire a family member up in Cullercoats North Tyneside was affected. After days of understanding situation realised they were getting a repeater signal from Peterlee or Seaham area. That made sense as the property was in a bit of a land depression and Pontop pike had never been used for them. A lot of the initial fix work went on also repointing the repeaters to fix the problems so who knows if they will reconfigure them all back to initial spec.

I'm surprised you can receive BBC Tees in Newcastle full stop considering its currently broadcasting from the Eston Nab transmitter at less than .5kW power output.
