Is H.Short correct? Would it not be Maurice Short who would have been 17 in '67. Moody was always in our house - my brother's best friend at the time and another ex-Park End school player.

Alan was Boro through and through ... chicken run ran him ragged .... had a great career at Southend when the booing got too much

Registered No470 when Maurice made his debut at home to Derby County in a 2-2 draw, on the 27th April 1968 going on to make 19 appearence for the 1st team, our 35th used 1st team goalkeeper at that point

Didn't our first team play Darlington in the league 1966/7 too?

I was too young to go to games in 1967 and parents were wondering about with flowers in their hair, which was odd for Cargo Fleet.
