Went tonight. Really nice decor, but that’s the best bit. Food was just decent. Which for the price isn’t good enough. Service was the worst part. One of our party’s main course’s came out shot 5 minutes after everyone else’s. Which was made worse because it was only a margarita pizza😂

Is this the place that has the stage with entertainers and such?

Going on Friday, not really heard much about it yet except for the poor service.

Opened in October. Personally I give any new restaurants a good 6 months to get the kitchen and service team settled and performing. I’m sure it will be a success.

If it’s only been 2 months and he had good press, then they probably haven’t been able to take a breath to resolve the teething issues

How new is it? It is dangerous to open just before Christmas before the staff have been fully up to speed? Hence soft opens are the way to get the service right when it isn't full.

It is. Had a guy playing piano and a singer for a portion of the night. Then a really rushed burlesque performance for about 5 minutes which just felt awkward and weird in a restaurant

Sounds awful that, just focus on the food.
About 8 years ago we decided to try a restaurant in Harrogate called Opera.
Maybe should have known what to expect …….
Midway through our meal the maitre d came to us and asked if we minded if he and his partner sang.
We were polite enough to say ‘no problem‘ and they proceeded to bang out an operatic number.
All a bit surreal.

I went on a Saturday last table and could not fault it. People getting up having a little dance.at the end of night As for someone ordering pizza when their was a lot more on offer says more about them. One plus point no Parmo on menu 😉

No parmo. Give it 12 months it’ll either be on there or closed 😎

Parmos are for when you are drunk and on your way home not for a restaurant. Tho each to their own

I went about 6 weeks ago. Shame to see things havent improved. Ordered a drink when we arrived. Never turned up. Asked another 3 times before it turned up. Had finished our meal by the time it did. We took our drinks upstairs to the cocktail bar. After a while we where told there is plenty of tables downstairs now to drink at and the cocktail bar was closing. Went downstairs after another 10 minutes waiting for someone to serve us again we gave up and left. Food was nothing flash either.
