Still the biggest selling 12” and still sounds as good

Music is such an evocative sense, the opening bars of Blue Monday always take me back to my underage nightclubbing days in Darcy's, they always heralded the deployment of the smoke machine, that sweet vape smell, the rush to the wooden sprung dance floor and then a seven minute sway of teenage abandon, some of the most joyous moments of my life were spent with that distorted Ennio Morricone bass line, the magic of music, a track that keeps my hopeful, innocent self alive forever.
Same.Got the original 12" single
Same.
Not worth a great deal surprisingly - last time I checked it was about £20-25.
Happy days, alternating between Havana and the Waterfront.Brings back great memories of the Waterfront on a Saturday night in Stockton with DJ Kitch. Best night was dancing to the Roses while trying to watch Boro hammer Newcastle 4-1 in 1990.
The only nightclub I could go listen to this, and many other great songs on a Saturday night was Blaises/The Underground. An utter dive of a place, that probably wouldn't be allowed to operate nowadays. It was my favourite place in the entire world.
Blaises on a Thursday!! What a night that was back in the day.Blaises was great,
Thursday night with the alternate Rock and Indie rooms and then Saturday night where both rockers / indie kids and ravers managed to co-exist in relative harmony. I dont think I saw a single fight in there in the 15 years or so I went there.
Waterfront was something else! Very happy days in there!! KitchHappy days, alternating between Havana and the Waterfront.
Think temptation is probably my favourite New Order track some tune!Love the original 1982 12" of Temptation too
