Not fussed whatsoever if we don't sign him, I'd sooner he came in than nobody but I just don't think he'd contribute much of note.

If we do bring in other targets, I'll be happy.
 
Well we’re already covering wages for brown hall and fletch who aren’t playing. You could add Roberts to that . How many so called first team wages can we afford to pay
 
I think to be brutally honest it’s slim chance we’re going to finish top 6 and certainly not top 2 ( after 46games ) so while we’re paddling in upper mid table it’s perhaps wiser to buy end of season . Remember we don’t even know whether NW is going to stay .
Or to counter my point , really go for top 6 and chance on purchases getting us there . The proverbial **** or bust .
 
We do need a new player or two to kick us on, I hope that we can afford and get them.
Without we will struggle to keep pace with the top 6
 
I like the lad Dembele at Peterborough. Not sure if he could make the step up but he’s one to look out for

It's going to be very difficult to make signings at the minute. A covid outbreak could hit any team at any time and I think there is a reluctance to let people go, as they may end up being needed. I think we may see more action towards the end of the window, but I feel it could be a quiet one for most teams
 
I hope im wrong but it could also be a ploy to make him drop his demands and or Everton to contribute a larger share of his wages.
 
Can't see it money related as everyone must have known about the financial side when previous attempts for us to sign him must have been agreed

Certainly would make sense a little bit of who blinks first . I’d wager both clubs are ‘ encouraging’ him to drop his wage . I guess it depends on how much he wants to play .
