It’s been explained countless times it is a simple gesture against discrimination of all sorts.I have - it’s pointless virtue signalling, that’s why people boo. It came about after the George Floyd incident as we know but how long ago is that now - time to move on i think, it has achieved nothing other than to antagonise people
What on earth are you rambling on about - are you calling me racist for having a different opinion ? Talk about adding 2+2 an getting 26Fog off Funky. You're on the wrong side of history fella.
It is a gesture against racism that people are booing. How on earth is that 'playing the racism card'?Why play the racism card? Just because people disagree with it doesn’t mean they’re racist.
As Les Ferdinand said, he could see the point at the start but how long does it go on? Eventually it loses its meaning and is counter productive.
That’s Les’ opinion but no doubt when it happens he doesn’t stand and boo.Why play the racism card? Just because people disagree with it doesn’t mean they’re racist.

What reason does anyone have for booing an anti discrimination gesture? If you don’t like it just ignore it?
Anyone can disagree with it but actively booing a gesture which is specifically anti racism can’t be classed as anything else surely? Why play the racism card? Just because people disagree with it doesn’t mean they’re racist.

Would Les Ferdinand boo it though? I don't think so.Why play the racism card? Just because people disagree with it doesn’t mean they’re racist.

Nah.. I’ll not ignore people making fools of themselves and bringing down the tone of our club by clearly objecting to an anti discrimination gesture. And if you don’t like the booing then ignore that

Don't worry funky chicken having seen your posts for years I'm sure people are far more likely to think you are thick than a racist.
