Booster jabs

So with today’s announcement of reducing times since 2nd jab down from 6 months to 3 months, does that mean you can turn up for a walk up at the Riverside, I have a jab booked for 2 weeks time but would bring that forward??

Waiting to hear from the NHS about how they want to roll it out. I'm in over 30 category and 6 months from 2nd jab wouldn't have been until end of January. I'm hoping I'll be able to get one this side of Christmas.

According to GMB it hasn't officially being signed off yet so it will be another couple of days before you can get your boosters early. My appointment is in 2 weeks - I think I'll just keep it as it is.

It's happing. Although not signed off yet.

I was due my booster on the 24th of December under the old 6 month wait. I decided to book it for next available slot that was the 29th as didn't want the possibility of feeling 'rough' on Xmas day (although I wasn't after the 2nd one).

I'll move it forward as soon as it comes into force. I should be just about due it as in 40s and been 5 months ago.

I did this. the earliest i could book a booster was 17/12, but the same place was doing walk ins. I was off last Friday and thought i would chance it. I was in and out in 15 minutes.

I was at the Riverside getting my booster jab on a booked appointment yesterday. There was two walk ins whilst we queued and they were 'accommodated'. The que snaked in the foyer and there are a few heaters, if you're lucky when the que is paused it's under the heater otherwise wrap up well.
Talked to the nurse about 'take up' as last I heard it was well down on U.K average and she replied happy to say much better now, which made me feel a lot better.

Had a pfizer booster yesterday, which is on top of my 2 x AZs. Dead arm feeling for most of the day and a couple of hours early this afternoon feeling like sho!te i.e aches, shivering, back of the head aches. All cleared up now, and ready for the gym (y)
