'Boris Johnson lied to Parliament' - Cummings

I am not sure pointing out cummings is an egomaniac who shouldn't be trusted, is deflecting. It's a fact.

Trustworthy Dom now then is it , a paragon of virtue is he now ..... they are all bent , all peeing in same pot , mentioned b***r all untill he was sacked ....which i seem to remember ...all wanted ........now we believe him !!!
I wouldn't say Cummings is in anyway trustworthy and is certainly a fairly despicable human being, however he is meticulous, calculating and clever enough to know that he can back his claims with evidence.

Johnson isn't any of those things and will eventually meet his comeuppance through his actions, he has no one to blame but himself, whilst Cummings motives may be far from noble, his evidence on Partygate has been verified by others and is more credible than 'I didn't know it was a Party'

Johnson's supporters will blame the whistleblower's rather than see this wholly avoidable situation isn't a result of telling tales but because of the actions a Prime Minister who is totally unfit for office. His delusion that these things wouldn't surface, his lack of contrition and ultimately his judgement in allowing these events to occur make his position as a member of Government untenable.

Cummings knows that if No 10 can show that anything he says is a lie what is left of his credibility would be gone and Johnson is home free. That is why you can believe Cummings.

He hates being wrong too - remember when someone accused him of altering his blog? He didn't like that and spent a chunk of time proving that he didn't.

Yeah, eye tests etc, wouldn't surprise me if Johnson had a part in that too.

Cummings has been spot on with any accusations levied at No 10 since he left.
