Boro fans wanting Leeds to stay up at Everton's expense

Not beyond the realm of possibility that both Everton and Leeds come down. Leicester win v West Ham then Everton have to win also. I always find the relegation battle more interesting than what goes on at the top of the league.

I went the other way. My mate is a Leeds season ticket holder and use to bring my son scarves and programmes back from his European tours with Leeds. On my son's fifth birthday, he wanted a Leeds shirt and a day watching Leeds at Elland Rd. I obliged him, I got him the Leeds kit, my mate bought us tickets for the game and we went off to Elland Rd. In the pub, they brought out a Leeds United birthday cake with candles for him to blow out. This fad lasted about three months until he realised who his proper team was after regular visits to Ayersom Park and bought a proper kit.

I've got tons of pictures of him in his Leeds kit that I use against him on a regular basis. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

I live in Leeds. I gave the kids the option of supporting Leeds or supporting the Boro. They were the two options on the table, but I did say I wouldn't be taking them to any Leeds games.
Both are Boro fans..

I used to despise Leeds when I first moved here mainly cus of one grade A bellend who used to go on about Leeds every day and take the **** out of Boro. Gradually I made friends with real Leeds fans who over the years had season tickets through league 1 and the champo and I don't despise them any more. I don't care for them, just don't hate 'em.

Every club has it's good and bad fans, I just don't like the philosophy and ethos of the club which appears to be win at any costs. They always seem to have a fair share of players that will go in high, leave a naughty elbow on you and revel in it.

As mentioned above its 2 from 3, I'm another who doesn't really get the Leeds hatred thing. They're just another Yorkshire team, Bradford and Huddersfield are not far away from them but no hatred there. See also the Sheffield teams.

I’m probably in a minority that want scummy Leeds and Leicester to go down instead of Everton. I’m also probably in another minority that don’t mind scousers

Everton would be mildly amusing. Leicester fairly staggering.



But my heart and head will always want Leeds to go down and hopefully keep going down until there is literally nothing left but a crest and memories

But pro-actively wanting Leeds to stay up I just don't get
Maybe it's just from being there in 1997 and what they were like, but I'll never tire of seeing them relegated

If either Everton or Leicester win Leeds are down - good, I'm delighted
But if Leicester don't win I'll definitely hold my nose and hope Everton do

I would prefer Leeds and Everton to go down. Firstly, well because its Leeds. Secondly Everton have been so spawny in the past and they think they have this god given right to stay up. I guess its also a bonus that Dyche is their manager too.
