Brexit deal gives Nissan a competitive advantage..

It wasn't really aimed at you boro fur, more everyone that keeps digging this up. It's good to discuss the newsworthy trade stories and many downsides of brexit I am just totally fed up with fellow Boro fans hurling insults at each other over a free vote that we were all entitled to vote whatever way we chose to. Its how democracy works, no one really ever gets what they want. I would be surprised if there are many people who voted to leave the EU are happy with where we are now any more than tory voters are happy with where we are now.

Sooner or later we have to start putting ballot papers behind us and start dealing with each other much better.

Name calling entrenches sides, it's fruitless and frankly childish.
Don’t stir the undead laughing . They all rise zombie like and wander the board in a pack growling and howling spewing their hatred especially towards mid life folk like me who had the audacity to vote not akin with them ( unforgivable how dare I ) .

God bless the lost souls being born into the I want/I want/ I want it my way generation 😪

@Laughing I think the responses have shown that this isn't a one way street of abuse.

Frankly, as I've said - entire adult lives of things getting steadily worse. Austerity and Brexit foisted upon people who voted for neither and feel the sharp end of both to be met by ridicule and 'you lost get over it'.

There is no recipe for consent when the winners attitude to the losers is contempt.

I'd have thought you might be grateful I expanded your vocabulary.

Anyway, you voted for a Tory project, wholly conceived and delivered by the Conservative Party. But I'm sorry if I was coarse in how I described this.

Yes I did but I don‘t throw insults at others.

I'm also a mid-lifer however my views are different to yours. I like to think that when I voted remain not only was I thinking of myself but I was also thinking of my children's future and god willing my granchildren's future.

You wanted our sovereignty back - we never lost it

You wanted us to have the power to create our own laws - name me one law we were prevented from making because we were part of the EU

You wanted us to have the ability to manage our borders - don't expect migrants or asylum seekers to stop coming across the channel in boats anytime soon

You wanted that extra £350m a week to spend on the NHS - do not deny this because I saw every leave politician stood in front of the bus. Where is the evidence that we are currently in receipt of this particular Brexit Dividend?

There's more than a hint of irony in the way you describe folk who don't agree with you however I doubt you're bright enough to realise it.

Undead?
Zombie-like?
Growling & howling?
Spewing hatred?

I would suggest that it is in fact you and your ilk who make up the majority of the "I want/I want/ I want it my way generation".

From an article on the BBC 9th December.

Alex Veitch, boss of trade group Logistics UK, blamed the disruption on "the three C's".
"It's the Christmas rush, coronavirus, which is still causing supply chain disruption, and now customs - or the uncertainty around it, with businesses taking the decision to move goods in and out of the UK in case there is a no-deal Brexit," he told the BBC.

So Brexit isn't the sole reason for the current issues, or even the main reason to be fair, however it certainly is contributing.

And just to rub salt into the wound- firms advised by UK to set up companies in the EU to avoid the Brexit red tape. This of course will mean job losses in the UK.

Why make it about generations though? That’s just as inflammatory at having a go at “the Right/Left” or “Leavers/Remainers”. Why stereotype and criticise everyone younger than you?
