Britt accused.

That's the pertinent question. Not seen anything (yet) from Forest suggesting it. All I've see so far is a no-mark talksport "journalist" coming to conclusions based on dubious footage.

Apart from the footage which shows nothing looking like a bite, I assume it's supposed to have happened when Britt pushes his face into the small of the back. Unless you've got teeth like Suarez not sure it's possible to bite the small of the back is it?

I'd be amazed if there was anything in this. Britt isn't remotely the type.

Britt's natural reaction to anything negative is to smile.

Missing a shot - smile - infuriating to fans
Opposition player kicking off - smile - reaction/red card

The work Morsy does pushing buttons is an absolute work of art. Planting seeds, setting little fires - he destroys players from the inside!!

Some viewers rang the show and said it looked like he had bitten him. That Colin bloke and his mate both agreed questions might be asked. If he had i would have imagined Ribeiro would have gone down like a bag spanners.

Surely a knackered lift would have been a far better analogy?

Well a ten match ban would surely send us looking for a striker.

I thought Britt's reaction as captain was poor. Not sure he bit him though. The opponent was in the wrong but going towards him and goading him was not what you should expect from the captain. Another reason he should never have been given the armband

I thought the opposite. For me Britt finally stepped up as captain last night. Worked his backside off for the team and I liked the way he defended Saville, when Ribeiro unfairly got in Savilles' face for not putting the ball out.

He reacted that way towards Ribeiro near the corner flag as well because he thought he'd intentionally stamped on Saville, although when I watch it back now you know I don't think he makes contact with Savilles' leg.

Give over man.
I've been critical of Assombolonga; but last night he scored, played well and showed some fight and attitude.
More of the same please.

In my humble opinion, Britt is no where near Captain material.

Ridiculous assessment this. Presumably if he wasn't involved you would be saying where's the captain etc.

He gave an excellent captain's display last night, wound them up so they lost their discipline. Got butted twice, didn't roll around like a Nancy. He was a credit to the armband last night, led the gamesmanship at the end to seal the 3 points.

I thought that was one of his best displays in a Boro shirt.

Whatever you say about Britt he has shown he’s a better striker than Akpom.

That may be damned praise but we need to get rid of Akpom in the summer. A 1 in 5 striker at best is not the man to lead the line in any sort of promotion or play off charge.
