Can I go for a pint in Redcar

No

  • You must not meet up with people who live in another town, either in private homes or gardens, or anywhere indoors - for example, in pubs, restaurants, or bars.

Looking at the council site, there's nothing saying you can't travel, as reported yesterday.

We just walked down the road as usual, a lot more in than last week.

Wait at door for service, sanitiser, track and trace, well spaced out, table service from mask wearing staff.

Piece of cake if the pub gets it right.

Am I right in assuming people who can still visit homes to do jobs i.e. fit doors, kitchens etc. or is that banned now as well?

Keep out of Redcar please we are quite happy how things are going now without the Boro Hordes invading. ;).........speaking as someone from Boro who has been carrying out unfinished missionary work in Redcar since 1980

Totally agree. Summer days when the the buses and trains roll in full of what can only be described as the cast of Fraggel Rock.

Stay in your own town, leave us good folk alone
