Can we catch Sheff Utd?

He doesn’t like it darn sarf or abroad
Derby, Bolton or Barnsley might tempt him.. if he can claim the work of a previous manager and claim glory.
Huddersfield, Blackpool & Wigan might be too big for him.
I had a dream that a goose was so upset with Wilder that the goose ate most of Wilder's face all the way off.

Wilder had been teaching the goose how to play Yahtzee. It was quite distressing.

That's all for now, I'll keep you updated as necessary.

If we beat them to 2nd place, I know this is childish, but man would I love to see Wilder's face after that nonsense Sky Sports interview where he didn't even predict us to finish top 6.
It's not just the fact that he didn't even predict us for Top 6 though (even if that's the main thing), it's the fact that he tipped Sheffield United to win the league, Burnley meanwhile "sneaking into the second automatic spot". So for us nowhere in the promotion hunt club that he left in 22nd to finish above the team he actually tipped for the title with close to half the season gone would be hilarious.

Yes, it's a bit childish. But I don't care, it would still give me great satisfaction.

Totally agree. Lets be big kids together :ROFLMAO:

😁😁 Whilst it would make no actual difference to us, it would also be nice if we not only do that, but the rest of the playoffs other than Sheff Utd are made up of West Brom, Luton and Millwall which wouldn't be particularly surprising.

Just so he gets absolutely sweet FA right.

Finishing 3rd might be enough for automatic promotion this season... *if*... Man City are booted out of the Premier League ;)

Yeah its a long shot, clutching at straws etc etc.... but you never know!

It'd be ironic if we got promoted on a technicality, having been relegated on one back in '97.

Any punishment is 100% not happening this season, but if it did and it involved forced relegation, they'd just relegate fewer teams rather than allow more to be promoted.

So 18th would stay up.

I still err on the side of it’s still a long shot. We have to keep winning and them to slip up again at least twice. Now the latter is very possible maybe probable but we will also have a slip up or two before the seasons out. Going away to Luton and West Brom for example.
