Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.
Think I’m getting transfer window fatigue. I honestly opened this post after thinking ‘that’s one I’ve not heard of. Hope he’s as good as his namesake George’
Thanks for that but think I’ve left it a bit late for available. Always next year.I’ve just done a week on Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal. I’d highly recommend it.

Nantwich eh? The model of town that every council should aspire. Plenty of independent shops and cafes and kept spotless. And no doubt a pie and a pint is less than a tenner.I've got one! "Albert" 50 footer
I am not a "live aboarder" too hardcore for me.
I am currently based near Nantwich,in a Marina, semi retired so go for the odd week/weekend and I love it !
Takes a bit of getting the hang of, steering is not very intuitive.and there's quite a lot of shoving and pushing involved, so you need to be fairly fit and agile.
Recommended you go for a long weekend to trial. Two weeks is a long time if your not keen, and it's expensive.
Llangollen canal is one of th most popular but lots of locks....loads of choice though.
