Politics is involved in all areas, the car industry is looking for a lot of public money for battery production. We've seen that in the Commons this last fortnight.

That should mean that wages would be increasing at a much higher rate due to 'the market'. Why aren't they, and why are they falling in real terms?

Also battery technology is advancing quickly. The batteries in even 3 years time are probably going to be different to the current ones.

I am engineer albeit not in the automotive sector but I do have friends who work within it.
As I say, no noise of any unrest.
