Carabao Cup

What does this change exactly other than giving the top clubs in the PL and easier chance of CL football? Because these are the teams winning these cups pretty much year after year already.

A fair point, but it would add some much needed prestige back to the competition and teams would take it far more seriously.

I'd go with Top 3 and FA Cup for the Champions League.

They've actually downgraded the reward for winning the League Cup, you only qualify for the Conference League now, so that's lost even more of its shine.
I'm fully expecting it to be scrapped in the near future.

Yeah, I'd go top 3 and FA Cup for the qualification to the Champions League.

The FA Cup being the qualifying round - equivalent to what 4th place finish in PL currently wins.

League Cup is clearly a hindrance to the bigger clubs and I'd be tempted to remove all clubs who qualified for European Competitions for that year.

So for example - this season, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd, West Ham, Spurs & Leicester wouldn't be in it.

There's only City who take it seriously, and that's normally down to the fact they have a huge squad. The other top teams couldn't care less and are happy to be knocked out.

It may motivate the big clubs to field stronger teams, meaning it will add meaning to the cups again.

This may mean they will field strong teams for the early round games, as it will still be early into the domestic season and the big clubs won't yet feel confident about their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.

Equally, it shouldn't mean they take the league any less seriously, as they could still qualify by finishing in third or fourth place, depending on who wins the cups.
