CAV - End of an era

I really really want him to win just one more TdF stage. I wish Astana had one more lead out man to help. But it will largely down to Cav and Cees Bol as a duo. It's good that he's gone deep in the Giro, he's got racing in his legs and he generally gets better like that. My main worry is the TdF route this year. The opening week looks designed for the likes of Wout and VdP, with maybe only one or two sprinters stages in the first seven.

If he even gets selected for the TDF, it could be the Dimension Data saga all over again

I'd be amazed if he doesn't. I'm sure there's a gentleman's agreement in there and they planned for this. It's the only reason they signed Cees Bol too.
