I saw an interesting article on the thread title yesterday for anyone who is interested in this.
Can you guess what our net spend is over the last 5 years? There will of course be a number of teams who have played in the top flight and benefited as such.
According to the figures the greatest net spend is :-
Sheffield United on -£104m, that is they have spent more than they recouped.
The least net spend is:-
Swansea City on +£104m, being a profit on transfers over the same period.
Any idea what our net spend is? It is somewhere between the 2 above. I assume it is only transfer fees and does not include agents fees, loan fees, add-ons etc.
