Suspect we're just going to be linked with anyone who played for Wilder at SU who isn't getting a regular game.

According to that he's played the last 2 anyway and at 33 I wouldn't want to be paying a fee. Can't see why SU would let him go unless he's on a big contract. But they can presumably afford it more than we can?
 
I'm not sure he'd cost much (if anything) at 33. We already have Bamba and Peltier who are short term signings. I'm not sure I'd want another 33 year old.

These signings do a job. Although it's hardly a longterm vision. Then again Bamba has been our best defender so what do I know 😂
 
Basham is out of contract June 22 , as is
Luke Freeman AM
Ben Osborne LM
Jack Robinson LB
All would improve our squad if we can afford the wages and A fee .

Lys Mousett and David Mcgoldrick also out of contract. Not saying we should go for them.
Away from Sheff U some decent players potentially up for grabs:
John Swift (had injuries but would be top of my list and would be perfect for a Wilder team)
Michael Hector - usually plays well against us
