Chris Wilder blast: A Warning of Things to Come for Boro players! [Gazette]

He's not shy of a public roasting. I remember in the prem he slated Henderson for his mistake that saw them beat 0-1 by Liverpool.

Just out right blamed him on camera despite being outstanding for them. It caused a lot of debate on Talksport and Sky. I guess everyone's a bit 'pink and fluffy' these days.

I had 23 years in the armed forces so I usually told it 'as it is' and prefer that approach. If I'm not doing something well or right then tell me. No pussy footing around. Although I've had a few issues with that since I've moved into civi Street😂

He didn't name any names. Although I imagine they knew who they are and we can roughly 'assume'.

I agree with what he says, but I'm still a bit doubtful about it.

Public criticism of players is normally more associated with the end of a manager's tenure when the frustrations have built to an intolerable level. It doesn't usually end well.

But to do it at the beginning, when you're supposedly trying to build up a rapport with the players... Well, it's an unusual approach, to say the least.

But the guy's an experienced manager. I'm sure he knows what he's doing.
Agree to your point to a degree as we all know what happened to Cloughie at Leeds but I agree with him .
Let them know this ain't a stroll in the park and if they don't like it then quite simply show them the door .
Players are PAID handsomely to do as they're told - its not hard if they've got ability .
If in the real world we all set our own agenda at work we're soon shown the door !

This is nothing compared to the apparent comments Cloughie made at Leeds.

He called them cheats and belittled them After they had just won the League.
