What’s the situation , can he still go out on loan to certain clubs or does it need To be done and dusted before it shuts ? Based in the mangers opinion this looks like happening one way or another .

From the press conference it sounds like the plan is to find him a loan club but finish his rehab here before joining up with them.

I think loaning him out now is the best decision, injury or not.
He's going to be 6th or 7th choice.

Aye the lad who scored 5 last season from the bench 6-7th choice 😄
The management obviously feel he needs game time to improve his overall ability so will be interesting to see him perform on a regular basis

He was 5th choice under Wilder last season too, so not sure why that shocks you?

Wilder has made it clear that he'd prefer him out on loan, we've brought in 3 new strikers, Akpom is ahead of him already and there's talk of a 4th new striker.

I didn’t say it was a shock but the fact remains he was one of the few players we’ve had that had the ability to put the ball in the net .

Going out on loan will hopefully help His over all development though .

A full season will do him far more than coming off the bench a few times for us. He always seems to have a goal in him but for me his all round game is miles away from the level needed to start in the championship

He needs to go out and play a full season to learn how to play with his back to goal because that is the kind of striker he will end up

He will never be somebody to run the channels or beat defenders for pace with through balls

He's a target striker, play a season or 2 out on loan put about 7kg of muscle on, and learn the Niall Quinn role

I think Wilder must have been totally convinced we would get the right strikers in, for him to publicly say the lad should go out on loan.

We can't afford to lose players who score goals.

Yeah and if we have too many here the ‘top’ strikers won’t get enough game time .
I think muniz , mors , akpom and the last one in will all out do sporar 5 (plus 3 pens)
