If the cases were to rise and restrictions reintroduced would that be the end for Boris. He has rode on the crest of a wave in popularity due to the vaccinations and people's belief he is a bumbling fool that always tries to do the right thing but is just badly advised most of the time.
But if restrictions were to come back in or the country misses the 21st June reopening day I believe the public might finally say enough is enough, as even the most staunch tories and Boris followers could see we were far too slow in putting India on the red list and stopping flights from coming in.
In my opinion I don't think that restrictions will be reimposed and believe in my simplistic world of follong the data and trends we are still on course to open up on the 21st June and this is scaremongering to a degree.
