Is there anywhere local that sells - I’m looking for a keg or an assortment of beers as a present for my uncle - any ideas?

Ripon market Square has good craft ale shop. Any supermarket will have a good selection but the smaller shops( like Ripon) and one near were I live in Didsbury are excellent. If there a craft beer shop on Teesside now?

Most supermarkets have a half decent selection.
Off the ground coffee on Grange Road have loads(Inc gift boxes)
Play Brew on Canon Park brew their own and sell direct to the public

Bottleshop in Guisborough not long opened and Rita's Pantry does takeaway and always has a good selection. The supermarkets are getting a lot better too.

Three Brothers in Stockton does free delivery within 25 miles but you might be a bit late

Three Brothers Brewery
Had a play with their website, you can collect from the Brewery but you have to spend a minimum of £20. There is another local micro brewery called "Taylor Illingworth Brewing Company" down near Teessaurus Park.

Not sure if Taylor Illingworth is still on the go?

Ah I popped out before the “off the ground posts” - I went to brass monkey in guisbrough - got a good selection and even got a pale ale brewed in salt burn. For this week only I won’t be the poor relation on wee gords Friday night beer thread there will be no fosters in sight.

For future reference, Flavourly.com is awesome. You can get a starter crate of 24 cans, 2 beer glasses, snack and magazine for £29 with next day delivery. (One time offer only) I’ve just ordered a mixed crate from their massive selection, £36 delivered. No subscription needed.

That sounds like a bargain - these craft beers aren’t that cheap !

It's really pushing it to say that the Flavourly beers are 'craft', they're that cheap for a reason... they're no better than what you get for a quid in Aldi.

Top of the Hops in Stockton is the craft beer shop in Teesside, they have just opened one in Darlo as well - incredible beers in there.

Glad to see you giving your taste buds some proper refreshment for a change, there's hope for you yet FatCat 😉

Vocation are an amazing brewery. Some incredible beers and free delivery over £35. I stocked up with a range from them for Christmas along with some from Thornbridge who are another favorite brewery. I know this obviously is slightly of tilt from the original question 😂
