Daily Mail is Now Triggered By……

They're only jealous that Boris hasn't levelled them up yet to wearing pj's for their school run.
You would never see this kind of behaviour being reported from Tory strongholds like Redcar and Hartlepool.

Judging much?

No idea who the parents are but just from the way they dress they have no self respect?

I also didn`t see in the report that the children are affected by this as the school uniform policy is pretty strict

What matters is the child getting to school, not how the parent is dressed getting them there

Tory press singling out school in Labour voting constituency when problems exists in plenty of 'New Tory' areas. Its a problem that many schools across the nation are contending with.
By the way, it's the Tory media that classify it as problematic behaviour.

Evening Gazette reported similar stories recently - are they Tory press?

Who ever reports it, it's a sad indictment of our certain elements of our society that grown adults think its acceptable to take kids to school or go to supermarkets in nightwear.

Disagree with the OP, the Daily Mail isn't triggered by anything but is using this tripe to trigger others. Just add it to the list below.

The BBC (lefties)
Gary Lineker (and the BBC)
Councils putting spy cameras in your bin (usually Labour ones)
Urban foxes (all 'cos Labour banned fox hunting)
The National Trust (too woke)
Hoodies
etc., etc., etc.,

The agenda is absolutely blatant yet I still get perfectly reasonable people parroting these stories back to me in complete outrage and indignation. I don't argue, I just tell them they're having their buttons pushed.

Edit: How the hell did I forget the biggest trigger story of all ..................... THE EU!!!!

Doesnt exactly set a good example if someone cant be arsed to put some clothes on to go out though

Not sure the definition of triggered is the point of the thread - but an opportunity for the comic to print stories like this or the other subjects in your list is a classic case in my book of them jumping to type. I live in North London and Ive seen similar dressed parents in big 4 x4s dressed inappropriately but Mail would never shoot off about them.

They may well be, judging by the time they spend sniffing Ben Houchens backside.

Gazette stop being an informative news paper years ago. Their on line presence is 99% a clickbait stuffed marketing site.

Trust me it's not just middlesbrough

I've seen numerous mums wearing dressing gowns and slippers to drop kids off around here. I've even seen one in Starbucks. I thought that's really taking the p*ss.

I'm with the Mail on this one. It's all about a bit of self respect and setting an example. I know stay at home mums are 'busy' (some really ain't depending on age of kids). Yet just get up 5 mins earlier and put some clothes on.

I get up for work and manage to not only get dressed and have a shower. The very least you could do is put some clothes on and sort yourself out when you get back from the run (not that 'sort yourself out' ).

Although I did read on Facebook the that some mums at a school in Liverpool had been reported for wearing revealing PJs and they were distracting the dads😂

Fair point re Houchen :)

It is but with the right adblockers in place it's possible to use the web version and get some local news whilst avoiding the bulk of the clickbait

Haha. Im not sure why people are actually taking this story so seriously. Who cares.

In Australia parents drop kids off in their speedos and swimwear and head off straight for a swim.

Does the newspaper article question the individuals on why they are wearing nightwear to drop off their kids to school......No it doesn`t, because that would be rude and intrusive

Posters on here are assuming imo that these are lazy, sit on there **** all day parents, when in fact they are just as likely to be the 2nd parent working night shifts and waking up 2 hours after getting home to drop their kids off after the day worker has already left for work

The parents in question are, by definition, making sure their kids turn up for school. The head's time would be better spent focussing on parents whose kids don't turn up regularly. Predictably, all she's achieved is to bring attention and ridicule to the school.

With everything that is going on in the world our local paper and the daily mail deem it newsworthy to take photos of parents in Middlesbrough dropping their kids off at school. It’s an absolute disgrace, nobody knows their circumstances, working nights, working late, medical, injury, depression.. it’s horrific!

We are getting ripped of in Britain by a bunch of well to do crooks. Democracy and impartiality are dead in the water. Rights and privacy are being taken away from us, now it seems we’re being trained like chimps to gurn away as they poke fun and make fun out of our most vulnerable.

It takes minutes to put some clothes on. Stop making excuses.
