He was excellent against Luton and will have been under considerable pressure to perform today. We were outfought today whereas we should have won at Luton. Jones barely looked like a footballer today.
 
7/10 against Luton, 5/10 today.

Looked off the pace, caught in possession a few times and was just......average. Doesn't drive forward enough imo.

But not really better or worse than the rest of the team, awful team performance.

Would agree no better or worse but think the midfield can influence other players performances but because he was so slow and no drive it slows the game down and slows our attacks. Was a hard watch today that.

Agree. We missed Howson in CM badly today, needed someone to grab the game by the bollox and drive forward. Disappointing no-one really wanted to do it. Chuba had a few bursts, but too many players took the easy option too many times.

A hard watch indeed.......one shot on target from a deflection 😖😖

Agree. As @Sexpom mentions above, you really struggle to see him a Boro player if we got promoted judging on his championship performances.

Squad player for championship, not good enough for the premier league in any capacity i would suggest

He’s neat and tidy on the ball and can pick a 10 yard pass but I’ve been underwhelmed with his set pieces.
 
I still think he's a decent championship player and likely to be a regular if we stay in this league. If we go up, he will be in a similar position to a few others, in that we don't know how he would do in the prem. Expectations were high for him, but he's struggled for a regular spot due in the main to the form of Howson and Hackney and latterly, Mowatt. Too early to write him off though.

Could well be a regular but I’d still have Howson and Hackney ahead of him in the pecking order. Not at their level.
