Dani Ayala moving out of his house

So Ayala has posted on Instagram saying goodbye to his home. A picture of him and his family stood outside and a message about all the memories they made there.

Plenty of rumours (I know what a rumour is before the first bright spark pipes up) stating they've been doing up a house in Manchester for some time and will be moving in there.

Have to admit i think he'll leave and that he probably already knows where he's off to.

A shame. Be disappointed if he goes to Leeds.

I know he's been a solid servant for us and we will miss him but his seemingly regular winter injuries mean that I am not as upset to see him leave as I would normally be. Move on - find a good replacement. He's not irreplaceable.

It will cost a lot more to get someone of his quality than it would to keep him. Sadly we probably have inclination propensity or ambition to do that. We will be make and mend for a long while yet. Unless we gamble somewhere along the line I cannot see us getting out of this downward spiral for a long long time. Keeping Ayala would have at least been a statement of intent.

Ayala is a class Player he is quality yes a little handsy and grabby in the box at times but his overall game is second to none in this division. Losing him is a huge loss for our team both on and off the pitch.

We need, as football fans of any club, to get used to a much different financial model.
That was true for us before this pandemic, but even more so for us and many others now. Recruitment will be even more important now in terms of getting players who offer exceptional value for money.

I loved watching Danny play for us. Hes great in this league. If he goes to the Premier League he will be giving penalties every week. VAR will catch him grabbing players on a regular basis.
Good luck if it's true Danny.

Pretty sure I read the house they've been doing up is in Hertfordshire. I think that's where Mrs Ayala is from.

About as good as it gets at this level. Some say he's a liability, but for all his physicality in the box rarely gives away pens or gets sent off. I think he's a very shrewd player actually. The sort you hate when he's playing for opposition. The fact we've been unable to keep him despite him being keen to stay shows how badly we've been run since promotion.

Our collapse in form since the four wins on the bounce coincided with his injury. No coincidence.

Massive player for us but we move on I suppose.

I think he's out of contract. Not sure he'll be playing for anyone anytime soon. Don't want to be a pessimist but its going to be a long time before normal service is resumed as far as football goes.

Spot on Zorro. Our only aim this season is staying up and Boro would have a better chance of doing so if Ayala was playing.
