Derby

Instant transfer embargo under FL rules.
Not that they have any cash - or anything left to sell:)

They've already been under the embargo, apparently.
Was expected to be lifted when the takeover happens, but now that's uncertain.

Im no fan of theirs - but I know of couple of fellas who have been season ticket holders for thirty odd years - and their families are likewise afflicted - and they aint happy.

Their club has bought and thought above itself for decades.

Derby fans know that Rolls Royce, BAE Systems, Bombardia an Toyota are all in spitting distance of Derby County - and would much prefer one of those billion pound concerns to invest - not some dodgy tyrants son.

Derby is a comparatively well off financial oasis in a low wage deprived desert in the East Midlands. Derby per capita has an income double Nottingham and a little less than that over Leicester.

They could be a force to be reckoned with, but their club, unlike their ground, is still in the dark ages. They talk of Cloughie and how great they were [rightly so] under his stewardship. Them an Trees are in the same boat when it comes to living off history.

Despite all his faults [and there are enough] all I can say is THANK GOODNESS FOR STEVE GIBSON!.
Amen to that!

"This is only going one way......."

On #dcfc ‘takeover’: players still been not paid and understand Derby have sought another loan from MSD. Money in bank now very low and a genuine threat of administration if this is not sorted ASAP.

We are an absolute embarrassment #dcfc

The Club is incapable of honest communication with supporters. Take the off the record briefing from Sunday as a prime example

This takeover is not happening and all spin….administration it is , sheikh buys pre pack , club relegated due to points deduction….Mel Morris had been the worst thing to happen to this club in many decades…

How do we get from you’ve been ‘assured it’s going thru this week’ to administration?
— Scott Gretton (@ScottGretton) January 13, 2021

This has been coming for a long time. Mel Morris completely destroyed this club

100% takeover is off then, we wouldn't be taking out a loan to pay players if it was still on. Incoming firesale of the academy lads I'd imagine.

Administration and relegation ahoy! Thanks Mel 👍🏻👍🏻

I don't know if this is just me, but when I think of Cloughie and his managerial career, I think of Forest, not Derby
He took Derby from mid-table nobody`s in the old Division Two to League Champions in the top flight and into Europe.

We WILL NOT enter the administration that is all.

Everything is done and dusted signed the paperworks ✅ BUT solicitors need to complete this ASAP. Oh by the way all the staff and players have been paid. But hey you will ignore that bit anyway. Have a good day.

Likely will be going into administration from the source I've got today. Said players haven't been paid and Jan's wages won't be paid on time either and said that the consortium have stepped away and Morris desperately trying to restart talks.
