Suspended from the Labour Party again. I'm not one of those people who despise her and take every opportunity to mock her. She's clearly a very intelligent woman and her heart is in the right place.

But, dear mother of God, she must have had her political antennae surgically removed years ago. Talking to the BBC, raking over the racism letter that got her suspended in the first place, saying she had no regrets. Wtf did she think was going to happen?!

Toast, I reckon.

She shouldn't have been suspended, it's another rake for Starmer's Labour to step on.

She didn't repeat what she'd said to get her in bother to begin with, suspending her over this won't help in any way.
It's a clumsy reaction to poorly thought out wording.

They can't go a day without doing something to make them seem inept and fragmented.

I agree with that too. But she's been around for a long time now. She surely could have foreseen this.

I’m thinking that she knows what she’s doing. It’s going to be interesting seeing what happens next

Certainly not the most likeable of MPs but morally a sound woman with probably true socialist values. Is her own person and doesn't fit in with the current Labour Party. Good on her

It was certainly stirring when she showed her true socialist principles by criticising Tony Blair and Harriet Harmann for sending their kids to private schools.

Before sending her son to a private school.

Wouldn't shock me if it was deliberate, she's made no secret of her disdain for Starmer.

It'll just push more Labour voters away when their support is already haemorrhaging.
Yep looks a tactical move for me. One in the eye for Starmer and gets to join the independent alliance which I assume was always the intention.

I think she is a terrible MP. She is, at best, clumsy, and at worst, an idiot. Not necessarily a terrible thing for an anonymous back bencher, but damaging from someone with as high a profile as she has.

Well played Diane. You made yourself look a fool again.

Could she not just have left without the drama if that was her intention? Wouldn't have got the attention then I guess. Bit of a matyr complex going on there.

Don’t agree on this one fella
I think Chris Mason BBC has called it right

Oh, and she knows exactly what she is doing btw

Apart from telling everyone how evil private education is and how it disadvantages those who can’t afford it yet sends her son to a private school
It surely puts doubt how much of her other moral ideals are just that ideals that would be compromised for her own personal advantage

She will be heading for the new Corbyn and Sultana party anyway. Starmer has taken her big moment of resignation away from her I guess. She knew exactly what she was doing. If he ignored her he has the weak angle thrown at him. She nevertheless had a valid point on racism.
