Djed Spence deleted anything Boro related

Maybe because he's absolutely not good enough for a Champions League team.

He never was, and with his attitude, he never will.

Conte is right to just sack him off. He never wanted him in the first place - Conte's quotes when signing him suggested that.
Docherty and Royal are absolutely shyte at that level too though. Spence at least showed promise with displays for Forest in the FA Cup against Arsenal and Liverpool. If he'd had a few games you never know.

They maybe show the correct attitude though. There must be a reason he hasn’t been given a chance. Deleting his pictures once again shows his immaturity

Problem with him is he needs very specific man management from the sound of it. Lots of attention paid to him and an arm round the shoulder approach.

Managers of big clubs probably don't have the time or inclination to mollycoddle him. Bit different when he's one of your best players. I suspect to get the best out of him, he needs to be the (or one of) the main man. Self motivation not a strength.

He's also probably a specialist wing back. Think he'll struggle a bit in a four.

So he needs a club where he's going to be seen as a key player, has a manager willing to blow smoke up his **** and plays wing-backs.

Mad how much chatter him editing his social media generates 😂 made us a packet and made himself a packet, even if he goes out on loan that isn't failure, he is a developmental player that is developing.

He’s a good lesson to any young players how quickly in the early part of your career you can go from hero to zero.

Spurs was the wrong move for him he should have shown more interest in going to Forest where he was appreciated and had more chance of being in the first team.

Has he gone to zero?

Has he gone to zero?
Not permanently but compared to his status at Forest at the end of last season he is just now.

I liked Spence as a player at the Boro and used to follow his progress at Forest and when he first went to Spurs but I don’t bother now because I know it’s very unlikely he will be picked.

I think he will bounce back but it’s looking very much like he has ended up at the wrong club and needs to move again.

He hasn't been remotely given a chance to show what he's capable of on the pitch for Spurs.
he trains in front of the manager most days, he knows him and what he see's in training, that chance is earnt and not due just because you signed a contract and they paid 15m (which is nothing to them).
Maybe he had his chances over egged that he would break in, but its was clearly something he had to be a model professional and constantly show them he is ready even if the only chance is just during training.

They are any amounts of players who would kill to be in his position.

Maybe the manager is being a bit stubborn, but maybe he is not seeing the reaction he wants to see from him.

It's a tough break, but he still has to fight for his place like everyone else, I would tend to lean on the perception he can be cocky, a pain in the **** at times and he already had a bad reputation for his training, if he's not changed then its no surprise he isn't getting the chances ahead of the players who have all them appearances in the team already.

He needs/needed to dig right in and just concentrate on himself and make him self as ready as possible, frustrating but can't help think he gets sick and his immaturity shows when he is sick of things, and I bet Conte is looking for someone who instead of sulking just sucks it in and reacts by continuing to show the levels of training and discipline he expects from the team.

I think he’ll end up like Adam Johnson.. big fish in a little pond.

I can't believe people actually think he is deserving of a place in the Spurs side ahead of Doherty and Emerson Royal. Both of these players have proved at the very highest level that they are top players. Doherty was first choice right wing back for a Wolves side that finished 7th (I think) in the Premier League, and Emerson has been deemed good enough for Barcelona to sign him. Admittedly he only played 3 times for Barcelona, but he still played 60 plus games for Real Betis on loan from them.

I still often chuckle to myself at the people over the summer who claimed that Spence would force his way into the England World Cup squad :ROFLMAO:
