Does anybody else have a good view of a footy ground

I was born 1.1 miles from AP and as a nipper before I was big enough to go could hear it and see the magical floodlights haze on a night . You never forget those memories 😢

Lived in a flat built in to the corner of Brisbane Road for a while with patio doors overlooking the pitch. It was like having your own box on match days.

I lived overlooking the Valley in the early 90s.Loved the build up on match day, still got a soft spot for Charlton . Guess they are your local team now SE4

A toss up between Charlton, Millwall and Palace. Probably more Millwall territory unfortunately, but I'd sooner go watch Dulwich Hamlet.

Lived in Highbury Barn in 92 right next to the Arsenal Ground Away End On a match day they used to put a police barrier next to my block and wouldn’t let anyone in or out from 2 till about half 5 unless you could show a bill or something similar to prove you lived there. On several occasions I had to argue with a copper. ‘ look mate, I live there’!!!!

I've got a twofer. Out of the study window I can clearly see Griffin Park.

Despite it being closer I have to really stretch my neck to see the Brentford community stadium from my balcony. I'm pretty much in between the two

I actually know someone who used to live in the "clock end" Highbury when they built flats there. She wasn't a football person though and didn't seem excited by the prospect.

I went to Southampton university and in my first year I was in Hall of Residence called Overdell Court which was literally that. A Birdseye view of the Dell. I took some pics but can’t locate them in my huge photo collection of past memories.
Old school ground! Bet it was a great view
