Dog Friendly Sunday Lunch Options?

Hi,
Could anyone recommend a good pub Sunday lunch option within 15 minutes or so from Teesside?
Must be dog friendly.
Ideally somewhere where we can go for a decent walk for an hour or so first?
Thanks in advance :)
Cheers,
Carl

The Royal Oak in Great Ayton is dog friendly. Book in advance as it's very busy on a Sunday at the moment. We even keep dog biscuits behind the bar for the four legged family members or you can even order a slice of beef for the dog too.
Would recommend the large Yorkshire pudding trio if you come. Plenty of bang for your buck.

Go to Osmotherley and then about two miles (less?) up the bank, towards Swainby, sheepwash is effectively the stream into Cod Beck reservoir, which should come up on Google maps. There’s some great walks from there and some great bike rides if you’re moderately fit. If you’re not up to it then the walk round the reservoir is easy peasy about a mile and a half flat and good surface.

If you ever want to know more routes let me know, I tramp and bike it all the time.

edit: sheepwash is the Swainby side of the reservoir, there’s two rustic car parks but nowt else.
