England v USA

Win tomorrow and we've qualified for the R16.

Then providing Iran v Wales is a draw, we've confirmed to have won the group.

Which will mean we can rotate all 11 players if we so wish.
Is that really worth getting James Corden back though, I’m not so sure 🤭

Even if we do win the group following tomorrows games, I wouldn't like to think we'd go full rotation for the Wales games. Having said that, I think our second string could still do a job against the Welsh who have their hopes pinned on a semi-retired amateur golfer.

Across in the US, it appears they have built a studio that is big enough to host another US invasion in the Middle East. Outrageously large.

But I guess they needed space for Piers Morgan's ego, who is apparently a pundit for tomorrow's big game. 🤮🤷‍♂️

If we go into the final game vs Wales guaranteed to finish group leaders then we should definitely experiment and rest key players such as Kane, Bellingham and Rice.

It would be an opportunity to give Walker, Phillips and Maddison some game time, although Maddison seems to be really struggling at the moment.

There is a reasonably likely scenario where a draw against Wales means we win the group and they finish second. Could be like that Germany Austria game from 82!

Along with Corden the US should keep Morgan too. What a fine pair of celebrity ambassadors they are to the UK 👍

If it's a draw, do we get the top half or bottom half?
Reminds me of the great Groucho Marx. When he was told his daughter couldn't go to a friends swimming party because she was a Jew, Groucho said 'Shes only half Jewish can she not just swim up to her waist?

The man was a comic one liner genius. My favourite Marx jokes are:

On his tv show he interviewed a lady who had 14 children. Why did you have so many children? he asked. Because I love children she replied. And Groucho said 'I love my cigar but I take it out of my mouth now and again!'

These are my principles and if you don't like them, well I have others.

I have had a perfectly wonderful evening, and this wasn't it!

Pure Class.
