Ever wondered why the Met won't investigate Johnson's lockdown parties?

It's almost old news that the Metropolitan Police have stoutly refused to even look into the numerous illegal lockdown parties held and attended by the PM.

It may come as news to many though that the Met's chief refusenik-cum-Chief Commissioner Cressida D*ck went through school with Boris Johnson's sister Rachel, who has also been stoutly defending him, incredulously claiming he doesn't even like social gatherings, instead preferring poetry recitals ("The boy stood on the burning D*ck", anyone?)

Meanwhile D*ck's 2nd-in-command (Basit Javid) turns out to be....the brother of the current Health Secretary!

Doesn't it feel great being run by an upper class cabal accountable to no-one...?

I dont disagree with anything you've put, or the general gist of your point, but to accuse the Javid brothers of being part of an "upper class cabal" discredits both their achievements in penetrating that Eton clique that obviously exists.

Class traitors certainly, ladder pullers definitely but not part of the establishment in the same way as Cameron or Johnson are.

Cressida's ironic surname always makes me smile or chuckle. Childish I know.
Sadly that is the only thing about her that does.

She expects people to watch that video of Johnson dancing with a woman holding a lightsaber and believe that he doesn't like social gatherings?
You could believe it if it was said about Teresa May but there's no hiding that Johnson would far rather be out partying than working.

Its incredible really. The MET are implicated though in turning a blind eye to all of these goings on which just outlines how corrupt our country actually is. A separate force should be investigating and poor Sue Gray (who the Government are putting under enormous duress) mentioning her name in every interview piling on the pressure to go easy on her boss otherwise she'll be known for hte civil servant who brought down a PM when civil servants are supposed to be neutral.

It really is our Trump era in a slightly different way to the US but similar in that, the PM behaves outrageously badly and won't leave office. Same as Trump. Johnson is surrounded by advisors and communications advisors of which one just left to work for the Sun newspaper (Tory rag). What does that tell you about the slimeballs he is surrounded by. Newspaper hacks who hack into peoples phones for info.

Its just incredible what's happening and this is the modern day Tory party for you. Extreme right wind masquerading as moderate populist party. The Tories have been overrun by right wing extremists and scream NOT TRUE.
Today you have ; Navy sorting out migrant's, Nutcase Nadine trying to bring down the BBC, covid reduced from 7 to 5 days and yet the scientists saying the data isn't there but these are all populist policies which the desperate Tories are trying to switch the narrative away. They don't care that these policies might be hollow and meaningless ; they need to fire up their base again.

This is a Tory party is severe trouble with a massive chasm between the sane moderates and the extreme aspects who run this so called government.
The english voters are utterly dense voting in this cabal.

To be part of an upper class cabal do they not just have to be in their pockets or acting for them?
