Ex Boro players you forgot, where they are now.

Mad dog, Emanuel Pogatetz: currently assistant manager at Sankt Polten in Austria.

Doriva: Assistant manager of Albania

Jonathan Greening: manager of Scarborough

Mate of mine said he went on loads of nights out with him. Said he just wanted a normal life and he wasn't interested in the life of being a footballer. Lovely lad, just didn't fancy it.
Thirsty Thursdays in Redcar is definitely worth it haha!

I know Cam through my brother. Fans considered that he'd somehow turned into a drinker and wasted his chance but the truth is that he fell out of love with the game and took a decision not to play anymore.

Like you say, he wanted a normal life. Last I spoke to him he was working in Saudi doing H&S on some job akin to working offshore. Suppose that's definitely considered normal for lads in Teesside 😂

He's a really nice lad

Yeah that's exactly what my mate said about him to!

No really forgotten but Derek Whyte is a Business Development Manager in Dubai. Exchanged emails a couple of times and he speaks very highly of his time at Boro.

At a legends dinner this week with him and a few other ex pro's.

Not forgotten, because he was one of my favourite players at the time - more for his character than his play, cos he had balsa wood knees, but Keith O'Neill has basically worked in food and retail as a manager (not on the tills) since he retired. "I remember being in a slaughterhouse up in Preston. I’d driven eight hours up to start my career in the food industry. There were people there saying: ‘Were you not on Soccer AM two weeks ago?’".

Surprising really, cos I thought he'd be the owner of a lap dancing club.
