Fair play to Michael Beale

I didn't see the problem with the goal.. dreadful ball control from Partick Thistle that lead to the goal and they even managed to make hard work of the gifted goal the other end. Sunday League

It's sportsmanship...

A ball is kicked out of play for an injury, you give it back to the team who kicked it out.

Partick Thistle were clearly trying to do that and Tillman, the player who was injured, has taken advantage of the fact they were acting as most teams would in such a situation and had nobody prepared for a sudden attack on goal.

It was out of order.

I bet you he wouldn’t do that in a league game.

Bielsa did similar against Aston Villa in a league game in the penultimate game of the season.

Let them equalise after Leeds scored in unsporting fashion, the match ended up as a draw.

Leeds narrowly missed out on automatic promotion, with the draw confirming that, and Aston Villa were promoted via the play-offs after just squeeking in.

Yeah, there’s sportsmanship and there’s whatever that first touch was. All a bit of a showing up really.

It’s hard to say if it was a terrible touch. Chances are he intended putting the ball a few yards in front of himself so he could then stride up and knock it back to Rangers, not expecting to be challenged.

Also, PT didn’t make hard work of the goal. The guy assumed he was being given a free run into the goal. McGregor though didn’t enter into the spirit, but little little wonder as he’s a horrible individual.

Fair play to Beale and shame on Tillman (and MaGregor).
On the whole, Rangers are a pretty distasteful club from things I’ve seen if them.

Difficult to tell from that but I assume Rangers kicked the ball out for an injury to a player, is that right? Which team's player? Not that it matters but it is the referee's responsibility to stop the game not the players' and they should play to the whistle. Anything else is nonsense. The Rangers player should have thrown it in properly ie to one of his own players.

Malik Tillman went down injured, Rangers kicked it out of play.

Partick Thistle threw the ball back in to their own player, in preparation to kick it back up field to Rangers.
Tillman instead ran after the ball, robbed the Partick player of it as he prepared to kick and scored.

Nothing the referee can do about it, it's not breaking any rules, it's just very bad sportsmanship and breaking an unwritten convention.

He didn’t need a good touch as he was just going to launch it up the field to the Rangers goalkeeper.
